why-now

Parent: motivation

Three enablers converge:

a. AI conversation has become substantive. In 2023 you asked Claude to write an email. By 2025–2026 you explain career strategy, debate philosophy, and articulate product decisions to it. The thinking substrate moved into the chat log — still private and ephemeral. (ai-conversation-is-the-substrate)

b. MCP makes agentic ingestion ergonomic. Pre-MCP, getting that thinking out meant manual copy-paste or fragile scraping. With MCP the user (or the AI) can push curated output to an external corpus mid-conversation — the unlock that makes ingestion painless.

c. The hiring market is broken for network-shaped thinkers. The résumé/LinkedIn paradigm assumes work fits a standard bucket. For founders, polymaths, senior ICs, network-shaped engineers, the standard format systematically under-represents them. StandMeet inverts it: the visitor reads how you think, not where you worked.
