Don't make me repeat myself
Parent: motivation
The sharpest, most concrete pain — and the strongest evidence the product is real. An articulated thinker pays a steep cost being asked the same thing over and over:
- a job search means telling the same story 5–15 times across 30–50 interviews; each retelling burns energy
- an indie hacker gets asked "how do you choose your stack?" again and again
- a journalist wants the same quote
- a friend asks "what have you been up to?"
The tell: when a mock interview tried to make Sijie re-explain his AI-coding critique, his reaction was "I don't want to repeat myself" — that reflex is the product thesis. Every repeated explanation StandMeet absorbs = real time reclaimed.
By surface: recruiters pre-read then ask better follow-ups; indie hackers learn the pattern; journalists get an articulate quote; friends get a current-state update.
